Biography

Dr. Gurudevaiah T. V graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore in 1976 and obtained a master's degree from the same university. Later, he joined the State Government Service.

Dr. Gurudevaiah T. V.'s Career and Achievements

Dr. Gurudevaiah T. V. is a retired bureaucrat (state-level officer) from the Government of Karnataka. Here's a summary of his career and achievements:

• He began his career in 1978 as a junior Class-I officer in the State Government, having been selected by the Karnataka State Public Service Commission.
• Over his career, he served for approximately 35 years in the State Government in various capacities, including at the district, divisional, and state levels.
• During his service, he held positions as the Managing Director of various State Government Boards, Companies, and Corporations for more than a decade, including a 619-B Company.
• In recognition of his achievements, the Governments of Karnataka and India deputed him to various overseas training programs, seminars, and higher studies in advanced administrative skills and management studies in the United Kingdom, the Philippines, and other countries, funded by World Bank projects.
• He retired from his government service in 2013.
• Beyond his bureaucratic career, Dr. Gurudevaiah T. V. was a member of the Administrative Standing Committee at the Karnataka State Cricket Association, Bangalore.
• He is a lifelong member of the Karnataka State Cricket Association, Bengaluru.
• Additionally, he holds lifelong membership in the Karnataka State Institute of Agricultural Technologists, Bangalore, and previously served as its treasurer.
• From 2017-18 to the present, he has been a trustee at the Acharya Patashala Trust and served as the Governing Council Chairman for APS Public School from 2017-18 to 2020 and from 2020 to August 2023.
• Currently, he serves as the Governing Council Chairman for APS PU College, NR Colony, Bengaluru.
