Sri. A. R. Accharya's Career and Achievements

Sri. A. R. Accharya, BE, MIE, FIV, has had a distinguished career and made significant contributions in various fields. Here's a summary of his career:

• After obtaining his Diploma and Degree in Civil Engineering from B.M.S College of Engineering (Evening), Bangalore, Sri. Accharya started his career as a Civil Engineering contractor for nearly 15 years.
• He worked as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at A.P.S Polytechnic.
• Subsequently, he served as a Bank Valuer for all Nationalized Banks for almost 25 years.
• In 1981, Sri. Accharya became a Life Member under the Abhimanee Category as a trustee and was later elected as General Secretary, a position he held for nearly 25 years.
• During this period, he played a key role in developing a prominent Public School in the southern part of Bangalore, which is highly regarded today.
• His efforts in founding A.P.S Engineering College were supported by the management, establishing another esteemed institution.
• Sri. Accharya also successfully ventured into real estate with the construction of a multi-storeyed commercial building facing Bull Temple road, which generates significant revenue through rentals.
• He served as Joint Secretary of the aided nonprofessional colleges Management Association under Bangalore University Jurisdiction for about 8 to 10 years, dealing with various administrative challenges.
• He participated in pioneering Environmental Projects in Canada under CADA, making multiple visits between 1996 and 1999 as part of a collaboration with Niagara College, Canada.
• Sri. Accharya organized a seminar on ISO 14000 as part of an INDO CANADA joint Project from 25th to 27th February, 1999, at Hotel Atria, Bangalore.
• His international travels to Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Singapore, and Kenya provided valuable insights into educational marketing strategies and international collaboration in education.
• With over 40 years of experience in the field of education and his varied contributions, Sri. A. R. Accharya continues to serve as a Trustee and Additional Secretary at B.T.L and contributes significantly to the institution's growth.

Sri. L B T Lakshman, Founder Chairman, has confidence in me and made me a Trustee of B.T.L also Additional Secretary I/c. So also Sri. T Venkatesh, Working Chairman, is supporting me to the betterment of this Institution.
